Dexter Richardson is the pastor of the New Life Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church of Chapel Hill (NLF). He lives in Durham, NC with his wife Jose', and his son Terrance.
Dexter also has a married daughter named Tiffany who is a public school teacher.
Early in his ministry, Dexter served several congregations in the southern California area. During his time in California, Dexter hosted a daily radio program called "Looking Up."
Dexter received his Bachelor of Arts from La Sierra University (formerly Loma Linda University). He earned a Master of Divinity from Andrews University. Dexter also received a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dexter believes that the essence of ministry centers around people. He and his wife, Jose' have served as licensed foster parents. They have also continued to work as volunteers. Dexter's favorite Bible passages is found in 2 Corinthians 12:9: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (NIV)."
