About Our Church

If you have been searching for a church where you can belong, just as you are, then you are welcome here at New Life Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church! We started as a small group, believing that the concept of church was about the people and the relationships that we build with each other, our community, and, most importantly, our loving Creator and Father.

Our Beginnings

New Life Fellowship began in 1998, originally as a ministry to Seventh-day Adventist students attending various universities in the area. Initially meeting in houses, this new congregation was to be a safe place where university students “could come as they are” as they explored their relationship with God.

In short order, the congregation expanded to meet the needs of other area Adventists who were either no longer attending church or were looking for a congregation that was grace-oriented.

Since then, New Life Fellowship has aimed to replicate the welcoming nature of Jesus’ ministry to people of all different backgrounds.

A New Home

Back in 2007, New Life Fellowship purchased land in Chapel Hill with the vision to one day have a permanent place for worship and to reach out to the community. After years of raising money and then navigating the building process, New Life Fellowship moved into our new church home in January 2017.

New Life Fellowship seeks to minister in a way that is reflective of the spirit of Jesus where he met people where they were in life, rather than how we wish people were. It is this reality that we work from with the hope that people will learn and experience what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Today, New Life Fellowship is active, meeting weekly for worship every Saturday.

We can’t wait to welcome you soon!
