www.pickupplease.org/ (arm of Vietnam Veterans of America (www.vva.org) for citizens such as ourselves to give clothing,
furniture, etc. to assist Vietnam Veterans. It is the only Vietnam Vets organization that is congressionally chartered.
 
www.piedmonthealth.org/ - provides health care on a sliding scale based on income level. Clinic also provides free
medical clinic on Wednesday night from 6-9 p.m. Also provides dental services at a reduced cost.
They operate six clinics assisting low income individuals.
